Terms of Service

Blok is an independent project built by a single UvA student. It is not produced by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the University of Amsterdam. These terms describe what using Blok means today and what it is built to mean once accounts and paid access exist.

Account use

Accounts are not open yet. When sign-up opens, an account will require a verified @student.uva.nl or @uva.nl email address. One account is for one person — do not share your login with anyone else, and do not create an account with an email address that is not your own.

What a pass grants, and for how long

Blok does not take payment yet, and prices shown anywhere on the site are for reference only, not final. When purchases open, two products will exist:

• Exam Block Pass — grants full access to one course: every topic, the last-minute formula sheet, and one past-paper-style example question per topic. Access is time-limited to a validity window covering that course's exam and resit.
• Year Pass — grants everything an Exam Block Pass grants, across every course, for one academic year.

Access granted by either pass can be revoked — for example, if a payment is reversed — and is not transferable to another person or account.

Content ownership

The summaries, diagrams, and example questions on Blok are original work, written for this site, and are licensed to you for your own personal study — not for redistribution, resale, or republishing elsewhere. Blok does not reproduce official UvA course material, lecture slides, or past exam papers; where a topic references exam-style material, it is an original example written for Blok, not a copy of a real past paper or its official solution.
